Worlds of Playful Discoveries at Eureka Primary School
Imagine starting school in thematic worlds made for singing, constructing, painting and exploring! This is how learning unfolds in our designs for the new Eureka Primary School in Rosario, Argentina, where learning takes place in venues designed to inspire and motivate children.
The new learning spaces are specifically made to support the innovative Eureka methodology. Based on the organization of learning in 'worlds', we have designed a color-themed learning environment for the Play World, Social World, Artistic World and Nature World. Each consist of three workshops designed to support key aspects of the theme and create relevant learning experiences for the students.
To create a holistic environment, the design of the playful learning environment activates the qualities of each world with a focus on the learning-enhancing design functions. The opening of the new Eureka Primary School extends the Eureka methodology and let it unfold in an engaging learning landscape where the students will rotate between the venues throughout the week, spending a full day in each one of them.
