Designed to Foster Collaborative Learning
The new design for Roberto Rocca Technical School is a state-of-the-art environment for collaborative learning and community building in Campana, just north of Buenos Aires.
Rosan Bosch Studio designed the new learning spaces for the technical school to give students access to a range of differentiated environments supporting the school's pedagogical visions. The school's values build on years of commitment to the community. By offering multidisciplinary education strategically organized to enhance the learning experience, students are motivated to connect, co-create and innovate in a learning community.
In six spheres for learning, students engage in Production, Research, Concentration, Presentation, Collaboration and Action. The spheres are carefully designed to encourage interaction across age groups and disciplines through imaginative worlds for creativity, inspiration and exploration.
Informed by the educational vision of the school, the design places the learner at the center of the learning journey. Students are encouraged to learn how to learn as individuals to become aware of their needs and resources. Through collaborative learning and strong connections to the community, Roberto Rocca Technical School is changing the educational premise in Argentina and supports students in achieving the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Rosan Bosch visited the school for its official opening on June 10th for a celebratory ‘Education Day’ with inspirational talks and a ceremony with students, teachers and school management.
