New Manual: When the Vision Stays in Focus

Grand visions easily become elusive in a construction process. Therefore, we have developed a quality system that translates the visions to impact goals and maintains all parties on the construction’s ambitions. With tools and step-by-step guides for impact goals, user involvement and levels of assessment, the system can place the visions at the top of the agenda.

The quality system provides a method for conscious choices throughout the construction process. This is done by balancing the focus on both building objectives and impact goals, so both are part of the decision-making process. At the same time, the quality system ensures that the user involvement happens throughout the process, so the new architecture is rooted in the users’ needs, and the change of behavior moves in with the users.

The quality system has been developed with Trøndelag fylkeskommune, Norway and will be published as a series of manuals.
