Løkken Library Celebrates the Inauguration of a New Interior Fit-Out

The new building fit out of Løkken Library is a consequence of a reallocation of the library facilities to the local school, as part of a master plan aiming to create synergy between the library, the school and Løkken Culture house. The project came about because management wanted to secure the future of the library during a time where Danish Public Libraries face huge challenges in the face of digitalization and because they wanted to challenge and inspire children and people young at heart to play, learning and creativity in new and imaginative ways. 

The new library in Løkken is a place that invites people to meet and share knowledge in new and inspiring ways, by acting as the crossroad between the school, the library and the local community. Now students, teachers and citizens have access to a local Knowledge Centre filled with new experiences, learning and inspiration during and after school hours.
