Rosan Bosch on Playful Learning at the Harvard Graduate School of Education
Effective designs of learning spaces are on the agenda at Harvard Graduate School of Education this summer. Rosan Bosch is a featured speaker in the three-day transformative program Learning Environments for Tomorrow: Next Practices for Educators and Architects where educational and design leaders will share emerging trends shaping educational environments.
Whether it is small-scale classroom remodeling or large-scale school planning, effective designs are based on a clear sense of learners’ needs and educational goals. How can we understand the needs of the learners and the community? What are the educational goals that should inform effective designs? And how can we plan and prototype solutions so they can evolve as needs and goals change over time?
Rosan Bosch will share our approach for working strategically to create environments where playful learning can unfold. The learning landscape design work as catalysts for the learners’ curiosity and offer a differentiated environment to wonder, explore, connect, transform and create through play.
The program takes place from July 30 – August 1 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Deadline for applying is July 15, 2019.
