Steno Museum

Through a sensory scenography, we have designed an exhibition for the Steno Museum that challenges shame and the understanding of the body targeted young people aged 11-15.

Our strategy for the exhibition Dear Body – Difficult Body is to activate the visitors’ personal experience of how body culture is depicted in their surroundings and how they experience their own body.

In the heat-sensitive lounge, you can leave an imprint of your body contours, while an interactive locker room highlights taboos and awkwardness through an artistic staging.

In the ‘Honestly' installation, you can submit a body related insecurity into a box. Afterwards, it will be projected onto a giant human body side by side with other visitors' worries, serving as a testimony of the fact that we are never alone with body complexes and shameful feelings.
