Skåde School
2010, Højbjerg, Denmark
With the activity park at Skåde School, we combine sport, play, and imagination, so both young and older students crave to get moving.
Amusing parkour facility, climbing walls, challenging cubes, and sculptural trees to mount open a wide range of activity options – both with and without ball games.
At Skåde School we have reinterpreted the concept of the ‘multi-sport court’ with an activity park where physical exercise and games stimulate social dynamics and create more enjoyable breaks.
One of the aims of our design is to attract girls as well as older student to use the facility and its variety of opportunities. The park creates alternative movement patterns in the schoolyard and presents new meeting spots where everyone wants to hang out and assemble for fun activities.

The many opportunities at the activity park at Skåde School create new opportunities for socializing and movement so that students can climb, roam, play, and hang out.
