All the Way Through: Escola Eleva to Open in February 2024

A new campus of the bi-lingual Eleva Global Schools, acquired this year by the leading global group of premium schools, Inspired Education, will open its doors on Feb. 7 to students from pre-school to the seventh year of elementary school in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Rosan Bosch Studio designed the indoor and outdoor spaces of the school, which were developed to ensure that students get the best learning experience possible.

Escola Eleva is in a transformed iconic building that previously housed the Institute of Fine Arts. The entire campus covers an area of 10,000 m2 with playful, flexible spaces designed to stimulate students' creativity, autonomy and curiosity for learning.

The campus comprises areas for early childhood education, maker space, laboratories, outdoor BioLab and a STEM Center, music studio and dance room, and differentiated sports areas.

In all our projects, we work closely with our partners on-site during the implementation phase of the architectural transformation.

Our architects visit the location of the project to assess and evaluate that the materials, colors, texture, and measurements of the design of each area of the school are in place to support the learning experience.

In these visits, our architects also assess any adaptation or modification to the original plan of the project that needs attention and/or guidance, including the acquisition of furniture, changes in materials if they become inaccessible due to changes in the local market, as well as support in finding the best solution to move forward with the plan.

Maintaining and nurturing a clear and supportive dialogue with our client, the local architect firm, and local contractors throughout the process is key to ensure the quality of the transformation of the learning spaces. This way we ensure the successful development of our concept design into the different areas of the school.
