The Entrance Atrium Library
Located at the entrance, this space embodies the school's vision - a hub for socializing, learning, and creativity under the symbolic shade of orange trees. Inspired by Mediterranean history and culture, where the shade of trees traditionally served as a gathering place for shared knowledge, the Atrium Library welcomes all members of the school community - students, parents, teachers, and staff - fostering connection, collaboration, and growth.
The Early Years Library
Inspired by the Mediterranean Sea, the Early Years Library is a safe and welcoming learning space for the youngest students. Children experience a relaxing environment that reflects the sea's calm depths. A lighthouse encourages exploration, while "sandcastles" and "wave carpets" create intimate areas for imagination. Students develop their natural curiosity and learn to understand their own learning needs.
The Primary School Zone
Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean Coast and Sea, this area is a collaborative space for children to research and share experiences. Wave-inspired elements help students move and learn in different ways. The zone turns learning into an active experience where furniture and space support both social interaction and discovery, creating a dynamic environment for connection and friendship.
The Secondary and Baccalaureate STEAM Center
Reflecting the urban vibrance of Castellón, the STEAM center is an open, interconnected space located on floor -1, directly connected to the exterior. At its heart is a media lab, equipped with a green screen, editing tools, and podcast recording stations, designed to foster creativity, independent learning, and personal responsibility. Surrounding this hub are glass-walled laboratories, makerspaces, robotics rooms, mathematics classrooms, and flexible study areas. This dynamic environment inspires innovation, encourages peer collaboration, and nurtures independent thinking and creativity, preparing students to excel in a rapidly evolving world.
Baccalaureate Library and Study Center
The new study center is designed to foster independence and responsibility in self-directed learning, offering differentiated spaces for both collaborative work and individual focus. The study rooms on this floor will be available for students who require them. Each student will have the opportunity to reserve these rooms autonomously, encouraging self-awareness of their needs and taking responsibility for their own learning journey. Additional spaces, such as the large sofa areas, collaboration tables, and focus caves, are designed to support each student allowing them to identify their learning styles and discover how they learn best.
